Effects of Humidification with NaCl Solution Mist on Electrochemical Characteristics of Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cells

This study examined the effects of mist generated from NaCl solution on electrochemical properties polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells. Mist-containing Na+ and Cl- ions were using a custom-made generator. The current density-voltage-power density curves impedance spectroscopy cells systematically achieved. Furthermore, long-term stability experiments carried out chronoamperometry mode for 20 h with deionized water solution. After measurement, regeneration was performed water. methods performance cell evaluated. Due to internally produced H2O, constant voltage more effective than open circuit regeneration.
